SoulKey Network

## What it is

SoulKey Network is a user-controlled identity and memory layer for AI interaction. The context a person builds up over months of working with an AI system — history, preferences, ways of thinking, what has already been explained — stays with the person and travels with them, instead of living inside one company's product.

## Why it exists

Right now, your context belongs to whichever model you used. Switch providers and you start over. Stay put and your accumulated history becomes a reason you cannot leave. Neither is an acceptable arrangement for something as personal as the record of how you think.

The design principle is straightforward: the person holds the key. What is remembered, what is shared, with which system, and for how long are the user's decisions, made explicitly rather than absorbed by default.

## What it is not

It is not a chatbot, a model, or a personality. It stores no claim about who someone "really is" and produces no psychological profile.

## Related work

HermesCore is the orchestration layer that lets multiple AI systems work against that context under consent and provenance rules. The Chamber is the conversational environment built on top of both.
